2024 River Cleanup
1675 helps clean up Milwaukee’s rivers every year in April with Milwaukee Riverkeeper. This year we went to the Ember Bridge Boatyard and picked up lots of trash! Despite the cold at this year’s event, we had a really fun time collecting bags of trash (as well as a TV or tire here or there), and cleaning up the tracks.
2023 River Cleanup
In 2023 the team picked up trash at Miller Park. During the cleanup along with the trash, along with some animal bones and as well as a shopping cart. It was a rainy day, but we were joined by Milwaukee’s Mayor to lighten things up!
2022 River Cleanup
2022 was the first year UPS participated in the River Cleanup! With record-breaking amounts of trash collected by our team, it was a very exciting event!
